This is a large scale Urban Design Project on the northwest part of Istanbul, in Zeytinburnu, old part of Istanbul with connection to the Marmara sea. This project is aimed to have a major cruiseport and a marina for the city of Istanbul. Along with the cruiseport and marina, there was a plan to develop an outstanding town center with retail and housing and office buildings. The Project is a good example of a mix use concept, bringing life to this part of the city as well as working as a gateway to the city of Istanbul. There is a building height restriction in this Project in respect to the historic Istanbul silluhette therefore the height of the buildings do not exceed 12.5 meters.
